I'm too lazy to write proper posts nowadays. Not that I have that much to write. ;p

Here's a list of fashion pet peeves. I'll try finding photos.

1. Boyfriend pants. I HATE THESE. Why on earth would you wear your boyfriend's baggy jeans when they're 5 times baggier on you?? I hate the look. ARGH. Worse than harem pants really.



Horrible.

2. Socks and high heels. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. It's not so bad if said person has long lean legs and is wearing smooth up-to-the-knee socks. But if you have thicker legs (like moi), for the love of God, DON'T WEAR SOCKS AND HEELS. They'll get bunched up around your ankles and make you look worse. EW.




3. Short shorts that are so short, I can see your butt cheeks hanging out. This is bad. Real bad. I saw this in OU once and it scared me to death. Fat girls, skinny girls, no matter what your size is, this is a BIG disaster. No one wants to see your ass cheeks making an appearance from under your teeny shorts, thanks very much.



I shudder.

4. This is a biggie for guys : Jeans with stuff printed all over them in COLOR. OHMYGAWWWWD. It was awful. I once saw an old guy (probably late 30's?) walking around wearing a cobalt blue V-neck t shirt that went down the middle of his chest, exposing ugly chest hair. If that wasn;t bad enough already, he turned around and the back pockets of his jeans were HUGE, with thick, colorful stripes running across them. OMG. I almost died. My mom was laughing so hard at my horror.



This one isn't so bad. But still bad.

5. Older women who wear graphic tees. I saw this woman who was probably 40+, and she was wearing a t shirt that said "Smoke The Weed". o.O Worse are old mothers who're fat in the middle and insist on wearing baby tees with words on them covered in rhinestones, sequins and glitter. Oh. My. -dies-

Time for some musings!!

Is it considered bad taste to photograph a graveyard? I mean, surely it's not a terrible thing to want to photograph the landscape that's filled with graves for art's sake. Maybe it is. I don't know. I was at the graveyard the other day for Cheng Beng, and I was like, hmmmmmmmmmm is it bad to photograph a graveyard, and my brother and parents were like, YEAH. So I guess I shall never photograph a graveyard. But, I must admit, it would be seriously creepy. XD And I will never be able to get that stupid show Shutter out of my mind, even though I never actually saw it. Trailers were bad enough.

I just watched Lady Gaga's Telephone video. It was WEIRD. XD

LOL. Watched Alice In Wonderland last night. It was pretty okay, the set design was amazing, the Red Queen was sheer awesomeness, I <3 Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the March Hare and Absalom. I hated the Dormouse. Mad Hatter was definitely not mad enough! D< Cheshire Cat was pretty cool, but he didn't laugh enough if you ask me. I would have made him laugh maniacally all the time. White Queen sucked pretty bad. Sorry Anne Hathaway, I love your work, but this was definitely not your kind of thing. AND YOU FAILED MISERABLY AT CHANNELING NIGELLA LAWSON. D< FAIL.

I was slightly disappointed with the Mad Hatter. He was sooooooooooo depressing. ): I did like that he turned out to be a fashion designer though. XD Cute. The ending was super anticlimatic, when she just chopped off the head of the Jabberwocky. Agh, soo boring that part. I like the Jabberwocky though, he was definitely scary enough, and I liked that his wings were tipped with actual hand-like fittings, instead of a hook like dragons. If that makes sense.

I don't think I'll be watching it again though. Or maybe I will, just for the Red Queen. XD She was GREAT.

6A'S DUDE. Including 1119 lah, but I don't give a damn, it's an A anyway. ;) So I beat every boy in my family (John doesn't count because he didn't even do SPM), but yeah. I did! :D That was kinda my goal. Unfortunately, I didn't get an A in BM. I was like, WTF?!? I WAS SUPPOSED TO!! Pulak, I got a B+, but I guess it's okay (: I was a little bit mad about that. I passed my Ekons though!!! AND my Moral :D

Aaaaaah. I'm quite relieved. And soon, the next challenge arrives : COLLEGE!! :D

I'm excited.

Congrats to Debbie for 9 freaking A's!!!! I'm so proud of you hun. To Michi as well, for 8A's including 1119, that's amazing babe :D Zi Lynn, high five on passing EVERYTHING INCLUDING EKONS XDD and the A+ in Lit! :D TO AQILA, WHO PASSED EVERYTHING. Except Ekons, but that doesn't really matter XD I'M SO PROUD AND RELIEVED.

Also, kudos to Nicole with 7A's, Joanne with 8A's, Yi Ying with 9A's and David for a freaking phenomenal 12A's. O: Blew my mind.

The fact that Tze Quan scored 13A's is no surprise XD BUT CONGRATS ANYWAY :DDD <3 And Charissa for 12A's!!!

3. Mallini joined baking classes in MIB. Go Mal! <3
4. Joining the church committee for Easter event. I think it's gonna be fun. :D

I'm getting an internship in a studio. An actual photography studio. With this commercial photographer who is also a fine arts photographer.

I'M SO DAMN EXCITED!! I really am. I'm meeting him on Wednesday to talk about when I start and things like that. :DD

Work on Monday.
Bumming on Tuesday. Hopefully popping class.
Work again on Wednesday, and then talking to the fella 8D Then cell.
Work again on Thursday.
Pilates on Friday, and hopefully shopping :D HAHA~

Was the whole point of Valentines day only to make every single (as in, without partner) person left feel like they're going to end up as old men / women with a collection of corncob pipes / 27 cats to keep them company in their old age???

Frazzled!

So currently, I am actually really frustrated.

So here's the deal.

At first, my parents wanted me to do an English degree (Ew.). I wanted to do Photography. No go. Then they though, maybe it's okay if I do Mass Comm. I'm not completely against it, but I don't particularly WANT to do it. Then I though, how bout Visual Communication at Raffles? My dad had a problem with it, so no go. So then we though, maybe Graphic Design degree in KBU. I am personally very happy with that choice, I was so looking forward to being surrounded by all that art and creativity and.. I don't know, I was really embracing it. NOW, my parents are like, hm, you know what, anyone can be a graphic designer, you're so good at English, why don't you do Mass Comm? And I'm not really able to have any say in it because they really honestly think that they know best. And in some ways, I have to admit that, yes, being a copywriter will probably get me more money, but honestly, money is NOT exactly at the top of my list of priorities right now, as much as I know how IMPORTANT money is, but I'm reeeeeeally just after an experience that I'll enjoy.

ARGH! I know, I know I'm probably not making much sense, but I can't describe it.. I feel really helpless.

Supposed to get my contacts today, but tak jadi, I'm gonna get them in ANOTHER two days. Gah! I've got astigmatism so it's taking longer. I'm so boooored. There's nothing much to do now that everyone's started college or gotten a boyfriend. I've started going for CLAP (Cell Leader A-something Programme) training, but then I found out I'm not actually supposed to be there because I'm just a Core, not really a cell leader in training, which made me feel really disappointed because it feels as if they think I can't do it. But anyway, I'm still going for the training coz Tabby wants me to. I thought this year was starting off pretty well, but things are starting to drift out of sight abit for me.

In happier news, I'm going to try entering some photos in this competition in which UNICEF collaborated with The World Photography Organisation and the Sony Corporation. I have to take a photo that is related to a pledge, highlighting children's rights : The right to survival, education, health, protection from abuse, harm and exploitation and the right to be heard. I'm thinking of trying to get a photo in every category, and then filtering from there, but I don't even know where to start! Hahaa.. I've got a few ideas but I don't know where to go to take the photographs and things like that lah. Got some stuff to work out, and I have to hand it in by Feb 28, and I really really REALLY want to win. I get to go to Ethiopia to be mentored by Reza AND go to the World Photography Awards and the World Photography Festival in Cannes in FRANCE.

Tell me this is not something to die for.

Quickie

Just a quick update coz I'm real sleepy :

1) Went to IACT yesterday and the day before for this Ad-Venture workshop thing. It was pretty fun :3 Met a few new people and stuff.
2) Going to the Education Fair tomorrow, and then CLAP training. Augh!
3) Our very first N.Ext cell was great fun!!! I only hope every single one will be just as much fun :D

That's it for now I guess. GAH! I better start college soon, or I will die of boredom. xD
