If they do a video for His Girl Friday, I will fight tooth and nail to be in it!! D< Anything to kiss William Beckett. Fantastic.
Really, truly. It's like, so amazing how it draws you into the story. I love getting lost in books, it was almost as if I was in the Wayless Woods, next to the Black Prince, feeling Meggie's confusion between Farid and Doria, creeping up behind the Milksop with Mo and Dustfinger.

Ooh!! I'm going to Langkawi next weekend for mom's birthday. Leaving Friday, coming back Sunday. I'm so sorry I'm missing your birthday Debbie!! ;.; I'll make it up to you. (:

Its my first holiday in three years, so I'm pretty stoked. I just PRAY I don't get my period while we're there coz it would awesomely SUCK not to be able to swim at the beach. D<

Anyway. Oh yeh! I went to watch High School Musical 3 with Aqila yesterday. She came to my house like super early in the morning and we went to One Utama. We spent like 7 hours there. And not a single goodlooking guy did we see. 

DAMN SAD. Gosh.

HSM 3 wasn't actually as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I loved the usual Ryan and Sharpay act and the new characters like Jimmy "Rocket Man" Zara. And Zac Efron, admittedly, has a very sexy back. But the story was, as expected, ridiculously predictable. Aqila and I could predict what kind of songs were coming up. XD 

"Oh God. So lame."

"Now, they're gonna burst into song.."

"Yeah, another "You and Me" song.."

-cue music and Vanessa's squeaky voice-

"HAH!"

Lol. It was pretty funny like that. Too much of Troy Bolton and Whatshername. I wanted more Ryan and Sharpay!! D< class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(204, 204, 255);">more extensive than ever - far more than any high school would be able to pay for. The dance scenes were fantastic though, the choreography was so damn cool. :D Oh, and I liked this one scene when Troy was doing his "I HAVE TO FIND MYSELF" act and song (thankfully, no reflections in the water) and he was in the corridor, which was like this box that kept turning. It was without a doubt, one of the cooler sets. :P

OH and when Troy and Chad stole Jimmy and his friend's clothes. That was HILARIOUS. XD

There's this one line that she uses in it that made me wanna rip the book apart. In her immense effort to use canggih words in this book, she has written this one line that not only doesn't make any sense, but also sounds rather absurd.

"...while he looks abstractedly out of the window.."

WTF.

WTF.

ABSTRACTEDLY?!?!?!
Please, woman. It's DIStractedly. DISTRACTEDLY. DIS-FRIGGING-TRACTEDLY!
Who in the HELL uses the word ABSTRACTEDLY for such sentences?!? How do you stare ABSTRACTEDLY out of a window, in a weird ABSTRACT pose or something?!?!? Geez woman.

Kateh's Book Review!!

Clyde : Hello, ladies and gentlemen (or boys), welcome to Kateh's Book Review!! Right now, we are reviewing the best-selling book among teens and teeny-boppers alike, Twilight!! Let's welcome the all-famous Kateh to the stage. Applause!

Hello everyone! Okay, so I've only read half of this oh-so-popular book, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's easy, at first glance, to see how this book became so popular with teens. The plot is simple - girl, here seen by the name of Isabella Swan, preferably known as Bella, moves to new town, girl meets boy, they fall in love, yada yada yada. BUT! Throw in an impossibly gorgeous boy who turns out to be an irresistable VAMPIRE, and hell yeah, girl, you got a best seller!



So yes, what IS the deal with this book? Well. I've only gotten through half of the book. Not normal for me, I'm usually a pretty fast reader. So what's taking me so long?

This book is just SO SLOW. My gawd. Snail's pace. Stephenie Meyer seems to pride herself in describing every scene, every day, every-FREAKING-moment in such excruciating detail that after reading six adjectives in the same sentence, one will want to tear their hair out and scream, "OKAY I GET IT!!"

Example.



"Of the three boys, one was big - muscled like a serious weightlifter, with dark curly hair. Another was taller, leaner, but still muscular, and honey blonde. The last was lanky, less bulky, with untidy, bronze-coloured hair. He was more boyish than the others, who looked like they could be in college, or even teachers here rather than students."



Are you tired yet? And that was only describing half the Cullens.

I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THE BOOK!!
Verdict : It is the most sluggish book in the WORLD.

Yes people. I WILL admit that, yes, Edward Cullen would probably be pretty difficult to resist. He's feisty, mysterious, etc. He seems to have one very major flaw though, in the way Meyer describes him. How does she CONSTANTLY describe him?
One word, my darlings.

MARBLE.

Look, if i wanted to kiss "cold marble lips" or feel "cold marble arms" wrapped around me, I'll just go make out with a statue, okay? Geez.
So yes. Why is this book the slowest moving book in the world? Well, three-quarters of the book is dedicated to Edward and Bella's slow courting, followed by :

"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I miss you."
"I know."
"Never leave me."
"I never will."
"I love you."
"I know. I love you too."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SHUTUP!! And then, when it finally starts to speed up ever so lightly, it only starts speeding up towards the end of the book. Like, when there's two inches of book left. And then, James doesn't kill her.
I was like, come on James! You go boy! Woot woo- Shit.

Yeah, she didn't die. But then again, if she did, there wouldn't be any sequels.

Shit. WHY JAMES WHY?!?!?

So yes. I'll stop here now because I'm REALLY sleepy, I don't know why. The rant will continue!

Okay, so I didn't win the WHOLE thing, i won for Theme A for the digital compact division. The theme was Indulge Metropolitan. Stupid theme, but yeah. I won another digital camera, but it's not even as good as the one I have NOW, it runs on AA batteries for goodness' sake. But yes. I am THRILLED.

HAHA BRAGGING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm entitled, right, riiiiight?? :P

So yes. My first ever competition. I didn't realise that it was going to be such a HUGE event, I thought it was going to be a small scale event, not even a hundred people, but boy was I WRONG. At least a thousand people had signed up for it, Mom estimated about 400+ people in the digital compact division, which was the one I was in. So yes. Out of 400 photos for Theme A, I won! Omg lol.

Unfortunately, I don't get to keep the winning photo, I should have copied it on my memory card. ;.; but I have one of the trial photos I took, so here it is :
